Quick Review

  • Two products sold on Amazon were recalled by the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) on October 8, 2026: PACEARTH U-type swing seats and ONTHEWEI infant bath seats, model MY002.
  • The swing seats can break and cause a fall. The bath seats can tip over, creating a drowning hazard.
  • Stop using either recalled product. Refund instructions require marking the product “RECALLED” and emailing the company a photo.

PACEARTH Swing Seats: Fall Hazard

The CPSC says about 110,550 PACEARTH U-type swing seats are included in the recall. The seats, carabiners, quick links, or webbing straps can break during use, creating a fall hazard. The company reported at least 30 falls and nine injuries, including fractures, head injuries, and bruising.

Sold exclusively online at Amazon from May 2017 through June 2026 for about $27 to $57, the seats have yellow webbing straps and PACEARTH branding. Review the CPSC recall notice for product details and refund instructions.

ONTHEWEI Infant Bath Seats: Drowning Hazard

About 2,140 ONTHEWEI infant bath seats, model MY002, are included in a separate recall. The CPSC says the seats can tip over, posing a risk of serious injury or death by drowning, and that they violate the mandatory federal standard for infant bath seats. No incidents have been reported so far.

The seats were sold on Amazon in April 2026 for about $40 to $50. Check the back label for model MY002 and “Date of manufacturer: 2026/1/10.” A CPSC recall notice provides the product and remedy details.
